I attended the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games. What a magical moment! Proud to be part of Team Belgium and incredibly grateful for this unique experience. I enjoyed every second of it! And I am enjoying every second of my stay in Tokyo. My preparation hasn’t been ideal because of injuries. I have been challenged on so many different levels (one day I’ll write a book). I have learnt so much about myself. I have been sad and insecure sometimes, but also happy. Truly happy. I’m growing, changing, becoming a better me and it feels so good. I don’t know what the future holds for me but I can’t wait to find out. Can’t wait to represent Belgium at the Olympic games and I will give the best of myself.
